FC Groningen, is een Nederlandse voetbalclub uit Groningen die uitkomt op het hoogste Nederlandse niveau, de Eredivisie. De thuishaven is het Noordlease Stadion.
De Club, opgericht in 1971, kwam voort uit GVAV (de Groninger Voetbal en Atletiek Vereniging). In de beginjaren had Groningen het financieel moeilijk maar de laatste jaren is Groningen een stabiele vereniging die steevast in het “linkerrijtje” eindigt. De laatste 2 jaren haalde Groningen Europees voetbal.
FC Groningen O16 maakt voor het eerst zijn opwachting op het BSC Unisson O16 toernooi.
FC Groningen , is a Dutch football club from Groningen which plays at the highest level in the Netherlands, “The Eredivisie”. The home port is the Noordlease Stadium.
The Club, founded in 1971, arised from GVAV (Groninger Voetbal en Atletiek Vereniging). In the beginning Groningen had some financial problems, but the last 10 years it became a stabile Club, which endet almost every year in the Top 9. The last two years they reached the European Competition, the Euro League.
FC Groningen O16 makes their debut on the BSC Unisson U16 tournament.
