Kalmar FF is in 1910 opgericht onder de naam IF Göta. Na een fusie in 1918 met Kamraterna ontstond Kalmar IF en in 1927 omgedoopt tot de huidige vereniging Kalmar FF. Het grootste succes werd behaald in 2008, toen men landskampioen werd. De beker werd 3 maal gewonnen, in 1981, 1987 en in 2007. In 2009 werd de Supercup gewonnen.
Het eerste elftal van Kalmar FF FC Twente komt momenteel uit in de Allsvenskan, de hoogste Zweedse divisie.
Kalmar FF was founded in 1910 as IF Gröta. After a fusion with Kamraterna in 1918 Kalmar IF was born en in 1927 renamed and became the current football club Kalmar FF. The best result ever was achieved in 2008 as they became Swedish champion. They won the Swedish Cup 3 times, in 1981, 1987 and in 2007. In 2009 they won the Swedish Supercup for the first and the only time so far.
The first team of Kalmar FF plays in the Allvenskan, the highest Swedish level.
